| In 2009, we reach out to approximately 210 players thanks to the parents, players, sponsors, and the rest of our community. A new league, called The Miracle League, is forming in Omaha for people with disabilities, made possible by the ALLPLAY foundation. ALLPLAY has engineered Omaha's first barrier-free complex benefiting those athletes using wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, etc. but will also be used by those with other disabilities. The CornHusker State Games, which is celebrating it's 25th Year, has notified us that they are creating a division of their baseball tournament in July that will now encompass people (athletes) with disabilities. You can also contact the Nebraska Sports Council for more information. These are click-able hot links for your convenience that will open a new window in your browser. Please contact them with questions. I have heard that it is possible that these games will be played in Omaha this year, which could present the opportunity to play with/against some athletes from across the state. Through the commitment of all the help, through everyone's efforts, time and financial support, our Challenger Little League can continue to provide youth with disabilities the opportunity to play fun organized baseball for minimal cost. If anyone wants to share any photographs from games from this season, please email them to us so that we can post to the website. We will try to change the photos during the season if we get new ones. |

| For those who are new to Challenger, the phone number of 558-0031 is an automated answering service with Qwest that you can leave a message on. It is NOT an active phone at anyone's home. It is checked once or twice during the week. Do NOT expect a return call on the same day. |
